The Rockfall Company LLC, is a full service construction company providing clients with a full range of building, construction and project management services. The Company specializes in the design and building of customized modular structures, tailored to the needs of the client. The Rockfall Company provides its clients with an experienced team of planning, design and construction professionals dedicated to obtaining the highest quality homes, home additions and commercial buildings at a cost-effective price, in the shortest period of time. The Rockfall Company LLC has designed, developed and built the Practical Assisted Living Structure (PALS™) that is the core component Phase One of the MacLeod handicap renovation project.

The Rockfall Company LLC has not only committed to completing Phase One of the project, the provision and installation of a "PALS" module at the MacLeod home for Carl's elderly parents, but also joined with No Vet Left Behind and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) to raise the funds and furnish the labor to complete Phase Two, the renovation of existing living space to accomodate special needs of Carl MacLeod.

The craftspeople and staff at ProBuilt Homes, Inc. of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania take pride in building quality modular homes throughout the Northeast. Their owner, Dick Schmidt who spent many years selling and finishing quality modular homes, knows what customers expect and what builders need. When Dick began manufacturing custom modular homes, he set a standard that still prevails today, i.e. a building standard that is tested, measured and retested each day. Dick Schmidt encourages and promotes the best from the team at ProBuilt Homes and our project is the beneficiary of that dedication and commitment. Dick’s generosity and commitment to helping veterans in need has played a major role in the success of Phase One of this project.

ProBuilt Homes, Inc. has contributed the largest single component to Phase One, the manufacture of the PALS™ module itself. The unit was custom built to the design specifications provided by The Rockfall Company LLC, a ProBuilt Distributor in the state of Connecticut.

Since 1883, Walker Crane & Rigging Corp. has been a leader in their field of service to the construction industry, setting examples that others have tried to follow. Their vast experience, licensed personnel, and dedication to excellence guarantee that the projects they service are completed properly and on time.

Walker Crane & Rigging Corp. has contributed its crane services in setting the PALS module at the West Haven site, a critical component of the overall project.

Over the years, product lines have grown and the company has expanded its service capability to adapt to the evolving needs of the construction industry. The company’s core contributions to the construction industry continue to be a complete line of concrete accessories, inclusive of road and bridge products, slab and wall specialties, and pipe products such as sewer, storm and site work specialties.

Superior Products Distributors, Inc. is contributing all concrete forms necessary to the installation of the PALS module on the MacLeod home.

For over 110 years, the L. Suzio Companies have been forerunners in highway and residential / commercial construction and in providing Crushed Trap Rock and Ready-Mix Concrete products to the construction industry in Connecticut.

L. Suzio/York Hill is contributing concrete and stone to the project at the MacLeod home.

R.W. Thompson DBA Acorn-Thompson is a privately owned company operating for 58 years in Newington CT specializing in the rental, sales, service, and parts for select product lines used by the construction industry. The company specializes in the sale and rental of road and ground equipment.

Acorn-Thompson is contributing excavation equipment to the project.

B. Kane Electric, Inc., a Waterbury, CT-based company, has been in business over 27 years. They specialize in a complete line of electrical services to the construction industry.

No Vet Left Behind is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans make the often difficult transition between military and civilian life. Through its founders, Mary & George Porter, No Vet Left Behind provides emergency shelter services, transitional housing, education and job training resources, and assistance with obtaining medical and other benefits veterans may be entitled to. Its goal is for every veteran to achieve self-sufficiency, sobriety, and independence.
